here's a
cool new alternative for Early Bay Bus owners looking for a trick exhaust
system. Wheelerdealer now offers the Sideflow
system designed specifically for the T2a powered by Type 1 upright motors
from 1968 to 1971. The new equal length, merged 4
into 1 exhaust suits varied engine widths from stock to larger stroke units
and, as it comes with 1 ½” diameter tubing, the Sideflow will is perfect for
street engines from 1600 up to 2000ccm. Two versions are
available either mild steel (painted black) with a mild steel muffler with
Stainless Steel exit pipe or a complete Stainless Steel system for increased
resistance to corrosion. Both feature thick heater box mounting flanges and are
supplied with mounting hardware and new gaskets.
